KLASSMIX is a DJ and Producer, and electronic music enthusiast alike, born in Romania. Having been brought up in a very musically-influenced home, Klassmix has had a lot of time to develop his sound. For him, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without even realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date. So, don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing.

When not performing, he spends his time in the studio, creating his music, in a style that travels across Electronic Music (EDM, House, Tech House, Melodic House Techno, Progressive House, Minimal Deep Tech, Deep House and other sub-genres of House and Techno).

"Never afraid of going too deep and using emotional musical selections as his own therapy, Klassmix has ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influences.

Today, this translates into sets where he takes apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, with ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks all on top of pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.

Everybody likes music and are inspired but, for me, it has been a 30-year journey, during which I have selected music for clubs. I have been a DJ, and I took part to numerous concerts and events, where I met with various artists and musical genres; these have “stuck” in my brain, and I feel I can convey that feeling through the music I produce.

Music is my therapy, it allows me to put my daily stress and cares on the back burner for a bit, to lose myself in music and the relish the joyful feelings it stirs up in my chest. 

The passion for music defines and inspires me and gives meaning to my life. It gets me even more excited when its rhythm and beat is in sync with the vibrations of my soul and commands my feet to start moving.

A melodic piece will make us experience a multitude of emotions and allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by them. It becomes the soundtrack of our lives, making us forget our daily grievances and transporting us into another world.
